Frequently Asked Questions
- Hold the ring part of the earplug between your thumb and index finger.
- Put the ring part into your ear canal. Push it in gently.
- Turn the ring clockwise slowly until your ear canal feels sealed shut.
- Adjust the ring so it fits comfortably in your ear.
- Make sure the earplugs are not sticking out from the front of your ear and are hidden inside.
- Follow steps 1-5 to put the other earplug in your other ear.
First, remove the earplugs from the case. Gently turn the rubber eartips inside out, pull them off the earplug stems, then wipe the eartips clean with a damp cloth without using harsh cleaners. Make sure to turn the eartips back to their normal position aligned correctly on the earplug stems before carefully pushing them back onto the stems so they fit snugly. Finally, place the cleaned earplugs back in the case for storage.
Begin by trying the medium (M) sized ear tips, which are the default size in the AudioFeel case.
Wear them and assess how they fit and feel in your ears.
If the ear tips are loose, fall out easily, or do not seem to reduce environmental sounds, then switch to a larger sized ear tip (L).
However, if you have difficulty inserting the medium ear tips or they feel too tight in your ears, switch to a smaller sized ear tip instead (S, XS).
Keep trying different sized ear tips until you find the ones that are comfortable, stay in place, and adequately muffle external noise.
To change the eartips, first grasp the eartip between your thumb and index finger.
Then, push and twist the eartip onto the earplug's stem, sliding it down as far as it will go.
Make sure to flip the flexible part of the eartip backwards before pushing it onto the stem.
Keep pushing and twisting the eartip until it is fully installed at the base of the earplug's stem and can no longer slide down further.
The loudness of noise is measured in units called decibels.
Higher decibel levels mean the noise is more intense.
Greater noise reduction is needed to protect your hearing from noises with higher decibel levels, this is because very loud noises can damage your hearing over time (see Table below).
Store AudioFeel in the provided case or a clean, dry container.
We recommend attaching the case to your keychain using the provided rubber band.
Avoid exposing AudioFeel to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or excessive humidity.
The AudioFeel Live earplugs are made for listening to music.
They have a special acoustic channel and filter.
This reduces noise to protect your hearing, while still keeping the music sound clear and good quality.
AudioFeel Live earplugs work great for festivals, concerts, and other live music events.
AudioFeel Live offers 16 decibels of sound reduction (SNR) and up to 7 dB noise reduction rating (NRR).
This carefully balanced protection allows you to enjoy clear, high-quality music and maintain normal conversations while effectively protecting your hearing during events.
Moderate (40-60 dB):
Quiet office, light traffic, normal conversation
Loud (60-80 dB):
Busy restaurant, city street, dishwasher, electric shaver
Irritating (70-80 dB):
Vacuum cleaner, average traffic noise
Very Loud (80-110 dB):
Blender, heavy traffic, personal listening device at maximum volume, power tools
Uncomfortable (110-120 dB):
Jet plane, rock concert, festivals, clubs, car horn, leaf blower, power saw
Painful & Dangerous (120-140 dB):
Aircraft takeoff, thunderclap, chainsaw, high-caliber gunshot
Prolonged exposure to sounds above 85 decibels can lead to hearing damage.
Looking at these everyday sound levels, it becomes clear why hearing protection is crucial in our increasingly noisy world.
AudioFeel LIVE uses precision-engineered acoustic filters that work like a smart equalizer for your ears.
Our technology provides carefully calibrated sound reduction across different frequencies - from minimal reduction in the bass (-5 dB at 125 Hz) to stronger protection in the higher frequencies (-12 dB from 1-8 kHz) where hearing damage often occurs.
This specialized filtration means you'll still feel the punch of the bass and hear every word clearly, just at safer volumes.
With a total SNR rating of -16 and NRR of -7, our filters ensure you stay perfectly connected to the music while protecting your hearing.
Developed with musicians and audio engineers, AudioFeel LIVE lets you enjoy the full spectrum of live music safely, without the muffled sound of basic earplugs.
Orders typically arrive within 5-8 business days of purchase.
We'll email you tracking information as soon as your AudioFeel LIVE earplugs ship.
